P41, The New Epicenter of Cocktail Culture in Barcelona

P41 Barcelona cocktails

With Mediterranean soul and international flavors, P41 owes its name to Barcelona’s latitude coordinates. From Barcelona to New York, passing through Rome, Istanbul, the Chinese region of Xinjiang and the Japanese province of Mutsu, classic cocktails and signature drinks have been inspired by the international localities that lie on the very same parallel; allowing visitors to be deliciously transported across the globe with just one sip. Guided by the talented mixologist Diego Baud, drinks are served by authentic connoisseurs prepared to surprise and connect through a multitude of stories to tell and moments to invent.

Reflecting the hotel’s symbolic appreciation of Barcelona’s finest artwork as well as its envious beachfront location, the P41bar is not only tastefully enticing but visual. A rotation of divine design and striking views, those savoring some of the city’s finest cocktails can do so to the vista of the Mediterranean and iconic Frank Gehry fish sculpture outside. And on the inside, adding artistic flair, the space has been designed by the prestigious GCA Architects who have created an elegant and cosy atmosphere adorned with sleek furnishings and contemporary décor.

A new addition to the space, handmade by Barcelona-native and street artist INOCUO, ‘The Sign’ mural is a striking representation of the different cities of Parallel 41 – all delicately marked with small perforated copper elements and interconnected by a red silk thread running through the cartography.

Also to be enjoyed, Snax, the bar’s new food menu, will surprise palates with fashionable nibbles such as gyozas, caviar and oysters as well as local Iberian ham or succulent beef sliders. And for those looking to be transported into the more didactic side of P41, guests will find the Coctelarium – designed to enlighten and educate with a speakeasy style. Ideal for private celebrations or corporate entertainment, mixologists in the Coctelarium bar will combine inspiration from an array of destinations and historical moments with the latest trends for interactive workshops, mixology classes, specialised VIP tastings and product launches.
