Atlantis, The Palm announced the launch of its ‘A World Away from your Everyday’ campaign with a surprise and delight stunt which saw two London commuters win an all-expenses paid trip to Dubai.

Beginning with a seemingly normal taxi scenario on a miserable day in March, a London based taxi driver engaged passengers in lively conversation as he took them to their chosen destination. Unbeknownst to the passengers, the branded taxi was fitted with secret cameras, recording everything that happened. For those passengers who the driver deemed to be having a tough time, he offered them a trip away from their ‘everyday’ with a lift to the airport and free return flights to Atlantis, The Palm and a stay for three nights all expenses paid.

On the day of filming, two lucky winners were given an all-expenses paid trip to Dubai. Atlantis also gave away spot prizes including dinner at Gordon Ramsay’s Bread Street Kitchen & Bar. In addition, everyone who traveled in the taxi that day was given a free journey to their chosen destination.

The new campaign taps into the idea that everyone needs to escape their everyday once in a while and be immersed in an extraordinary world. With its enviable location at the center of the crescent of Dubai’s Palm Island, Atlantis, The Palm provides this escape. The unique ocean-themed resort features a variety of marine and entertainment attractions, as well as 42 acres of waterscape amusement at Aquaventure Waterpark, all within a 113-acre site. Atlantis, The Palm is also known as the culinary destination in the region with a collection of world-renowned restaurants including Bread Street Kitchen & Bar, Nobu and Ronda Locatelli. The resort boasts an impressive collection of luxury boutiques and shops as well as extensive meeting and convention facilities.
