Katikies Resorts & Club, an iconic collection of luxury boutique hotels in Santorini and Mykonos, is primed to open its newest property, Katikies Mykonos. Slated to debut June 1, 2018, the hotel will set a new standard for chic seaside living on one of the most cosmopolitan islands in the world.
Nestled on the sun-kissed Agios Ioannis peninsula overlooking a crescent-shape beach, the new hotel will evoke the island’s Cycladic spirit with white-washed walls, panoramic vistas and sophisticated charm. Already a member of Leading Hotels of the World, Katikies Mykonos will feature 35 rooms and suites each with private verandas overlooking the Aegean Sea, as well as jetted tubs, private pools and open-air dining in the larger suites.
The hotel will be anchored by its one-of-a-kind amenities including three alfresco dining options, two infinity swimming pools, sunbathing decks, a state-of-the-art gym and an upscale fashion boutique. Additionally, Katikies Mykonos will become the first hotel to offer 24-hour concierge service from anywhere on the island through hotel-provided mobile phones.
Set amid a natural backdrop for indulgence, guests will find repose at A.Spa, the brand’s exclusive wellness concept. Often regarded as one of the best wellness options in the Greek Isles, the spa’s holistic approach is inspired by Mediterranean customs and techniques. Spa suites will feature a couple’s wellness concept with two beds, while the menu will include an array of restorative body treatments, baths, rejuvenating facials and feet washing rituals.
The lively center of Mykonos, main port and airport are all less than three miles from Katikies Mykonos. Rates begin at $420 per night.
The opening of Katikies Mykonos will represent the second hotel on the island for Katikies Resorts & Club, joining Kirini My Mykonos Retreat. The group’s portfolio of five-star hotels is also comprised of five properties on Santorini, including Katikies Santorini, Villa Katikies Santorini, Kirini Santorini, Sun Rocks Boutique Hotel and Chromata Santorini.
