For the sixth consecutive year, The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas welcomes the return of The Ice Rink as Boulevard Pool transforms into a winter wonderland high above the Las Vegas Strip open to the public Monday, Nov. 20, 2017.

Overlooking the heart of Las Vegas Boulevard, visitors will enjoy roof-top ice skating on more than 4,200 square feet of real ice, roasting s’mores by the fire, light snow showers, adult renditions of seasonal culinary classics and breathtaking views surrounded by vibrant city lights. This year, The Cosmopolitan is thrilled to add a Christmas tree and first-ever tree lighting ceremony hosted by Olympian figure skater Kristi Yamaguchi on Monday, Dec. 4.

Inaugural Tree Lighting Ceremony

Monday, Dec. 4

In commemoration of winter and the return of one of Las Vegas’ top holiday destinations, The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas presents the resort’s inaugural tree lighting ceremony with special host Olympic figure-skating champion Kristi Yamaguchi. The lighting of the 36’ tall Christmas tree will take place at 7 p.m.

A Night with the Golden Knights

The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas and the Vegas Golden Knights invite locals and tourists alike to revel in the holiday spirit along with a special meet and greet with a few of their favorite NHL players, the Golden Knights mascot and the Knights Crew from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., players and times subject to change.

Vice on Ice featuring TAO Group Cares Holiday Drive benefitting Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth

Vice on Ice takes over The Ice Rink with a high-energy club set by resident DJ Vice from 7 to 10 p.m. Attendees will have the opportunity to give back through TAO Group Cares’ Holiday Drive, benefiting the Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth. Guests will be able to enjoy complimentary skating with a donation from NPHY’s Holiday Wish List, while one lucky social media contest winner will be granted complimentary skating for six in addition to a premium fire pit package. Guests who donate also receive complimentary entry to Marquee Nightclub that evening for the official Vice on Ice after party.

Date Skate Mondays featuring Holiday Movie Classics

A fan favorite during the holidays, Date Skate Mondays welcomes love birds to a movie date night on ice. Cuddle up at a fire pit and stay toasty with a signature cocktail as a double feature of classic holiday films are shown on the resort’s 65-foot digital marquee at 6 and 9 p.m.

Holiday Culinary Menu to Include:

The winter wonderland will also serve a variety of curated cocktails, an adult play on traditional seasonal favorites such as the Egg Noggy Nog, a mixture of Old Forestor Bourbon, Mom’s house-made batter and Kringle cream liqueur; Scrooged, consisting of Angel’s Envy bourbon, pumpkin puree, praline, Bailey’s Pumpkin Liquor, and Frosted Flake milk and coffee; Rebel Without a Clause, a blend of Crown Royal Apple, ginger liqueur, apple cider, lemon, and coco-chai syrup; Campfire Delight, a mixture of Patron XO Café Incendio, RumChata, chocolate, and toasted marshmallows; and The Griswold, curated with Wondermint Liqueur, coconut cream, vanilla syrup, and hot cocoa.

Menu selections include hearty classics reminiscent of winter childhood favorites such as the Grilled Cheese & Tomato Soup, Cheeseburgers and All-Beef Hot Dogs served with kettle chips, Crispy Chicken Tenders in a variety of seasonings, Pepperoni Pizza Empanadas, Loaded Chicken Nachos, Cinnamon Churros with a warm dark chocolate dipping sauce and Campfire S’mores kit featuring all of the delectable ingredients necessary for creating the perfect winter treat for two.

General Information and Reservation Details:

The Ice Rink will be open Nov. 20 through Jan. 10. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 3 p.m. to midnight and Saturday and Sunday from noon to midnight. Special holiday hours of noon to midnight will be in effect Dec. 22 through Jan. 10. A light snowfall will occur every 30 minutes between 7 p.m. and midnight every Tuesday through Sunday from Nov. 20 to Jan. 10. All day skating access is $20, and Tuesday through Thursday, all day skating access for Nevada residents and hotel guests is $10. Admission to the unique winter wonderland atmosphere surrounding The Ice Rink is complimentary.
