Shangri-La Hotel, At The Shard, London launched its new wellness program – ‘Find Your Shangri-La’ – in collaboration with renowned fitness experts including lululemon, celebrity dance fitness instructor Simone De La Rue of Body by Simone, strength and conditioning coach Dan Roberts, founder of Just Breathe London Michael James Wong, and more.

In line with the hotel group’s namesake as the mythical paradise from James Hilton’s 1933 novel ‘Lost Horizon’, the hotel invites guests and city residents to find their own inner paradise through carefully curated experiences and exclusive summer-long fitness activities. As wellness is an increasingly large role in people’s lives, the hotel aims to create a truly transformational wellness program that helps guests maintain balance, a sense of purpose and healthy lifestyle.

In-Room Fitness and Next-Level Nutrition with Dan Roberts Group and Just Breathe London

Dan Roberts and his team lead the collaboration with a series of in-room fitness videos that feature an energetic and challenging HIIT session led by Roberts, a medium-intensity mobility workout designed to help participants stretch and realign after a long flight or day in the office, and an invigorating yoga flow led by Roberts’s top trainers. Beyond the guestroom walls, early risers can take advantage of the beautiful sites of London throughout the summer during the complimentary running club with Personal Trainer Gus Barton from the Dan Roberts Group.

As part of the in-room experience, Michael James Wong, meditation guide & founder of Just Breathe London, has crafted a real-world approach to mindfulness outlining helpful tips on how to calm the chaos in our everyday lives.

The hotel’s culinary team in collaboration with Clare Gray, dietitian and chef from the Dan Roberts Group, round out the Find Your Shangri-La experience with a special wellness menu that features low sugar smoothies, energy balls and nutrient-dense dishes.

Wellness to the People: Wellness Activities on Deck All Summer Long
